I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking ForĪs someone who has waited for this moment since 1983 I cannot express, in words, how amazing this show was. ![]() If you were at this show, please tell us what it was like and post your photos in our comments area below. 'Would you let me introduce my room mates ? Behind me the jock, the captain of the football team.on my left, the cheerleaders friend, he plays the four-string instrument, because, in his own words, 'girls love bass'.Īnd seeing from the clip we have, a lucky local girl who had the scarf she knitted taken and worn by Bono, everyone had a great gig. If Washington the other night had a distinctly political vibe, tonight we have another makeover as Bono introduces his bandmates for the benefit of the uninitiated. Your Blue Room is finding its place too, a mellow, ambient reflection before New Year's Day and Still Haven't Found launch the 360 space station into orbit again. 'Is he in the house?'Īs the tour winds its way through North America the show is becoming more unpredictable with the choice of tracks and the running order changing by the night - No Line on the Horizon comes later tonight before the roof-raising, stadium-shaking Magnificent and Elevation. 'How is Mr Jefferson, ' cries Bono a few minutes into the show. You could sip wine, or have a snack while the kids have a ball with imaginative play. On the other size of the space is a large bar, that is also creatively decorated with endlessly running video visual art, and an unusual, almost other-worldly decorative theme. It was a treat for me, as an adult, to walk though, and then hang out in the space, exploring the village, the tiny house that looks like it could be inhabited by little people (Hobbits?), with an amazing collection of little furniture and tiny things-walk in deep enough and you hear crickets. ![]() I can easily imagine children coming to this place, and finding fuel for their imaginations that would stimulate hours of fun play and entertainment, largely of their own invention. The entire place is a brightly light, and creatively decorated, a treat for the eye and the soul. There are small play-spaces, some up a few steps, funhouse mirrors, a Lifesize diorama that could anything one's imagination could conjure, but looked to me like an ancient, primitive village. There is a long black light-lit tunnel, at the end there are dozens of mazes painted on the floors, walls and ceiling where a child could follow a maze with his/her finger through to a designated end. On one side of their expansive space is a very creative combination of themed cubbies, tunnels and areas where a child or group of children might crawl or play. The Looking Glass is like no other place you have ever been to.
